A pocket History of the Cyanotype in Kent. The perfect addition to the understanding of the process behind the blueprint, this small one page book folds cleverly to show two sides of the story – historic facts or Cyanotype reproductions.
The design was developed during Hope Fitzgerald’s Artist Residency with Wealden Literary Festival. Photography in Prussian Blue celebrates the unique connection of the county of Kent to Cyanotype history and Anna Atkins, recognised as the first person to create a photographic book with her publication of “Photographs of British Algae: Cyanotype Impressions” in 1843.
