The full day of Japanese Stab Binding includes all materials. You will use hand printed, one of a kind suminagashi marbled paper, various decorative papers, chiyogami paper, linen or hemp thread and adhesive to make your own uniquely designed books. Tools are provided for use on the day.

Coffee, tea and biscuits are included.

You’ll take away your unique handmade books, new skills, and the satisfaction and well-being that the investment of time into working creatively brings.

Paper grain
Cover preparation
Various Four hole binding styles
Some common bookbinding tools and how to use them safely
