Workshop: Batwing Box

The Batwing Box was developed by the box maker and bookbinder Bep van Gesteren. Its clever design means that it opens to form a rectangular tray – perfect for carrying and using a collection of bookbinding tools. We’ll make our boxes using a selection of beautiful papers, sturdy book cloths, and ribbon closures.

Creative Courses is a new multi-use creative space where you’ll meet new people, learn new skills, and be playful and creative in a relaxed, friendly environment. Tea and coffee, quality teaching, and materials are provided… you just turn up and enjoy your day. There is plenty of parking and the venue is 15 minutes walk from Faversham train station. The Creative Courses Workshop is on the first floor of Unit 1C. There is no lift.
