Bindfulness Returns Policy

Please Read both sections of the Policy below. There is a section for Shop purchases and a section for Workshops.

Shop purchases

When you return a Bindfulness Handmade Book Purchase, you will be issued with a credit for the value of your return. Postage costs will not be included. 

If there is a fault with a Bindfulness Handmade Book, you may return it for a full refund within 10 days in the original packaging.

Please use the Contact form to get in touch to arrange your return in the first instance, so that a suitable return or credit may be agreed.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Some purchases are exempt from being returned. Books made to order and approved prior to binding will not generally be eligible. If a book is potentially appropriate for resale, this may be considered and is at the full discretion of Bindfulness Handmade Books. Book with obvious signs of use will not be eligible for a refund.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or credit.

If you are approved, then your refund or credit will be processed.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded or credited. Sale items cannot be refunded or credited.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


Workshop refunds

If you cancel your workshop booking more than 42 calendar days (6 weeks) before the delivery date, a refund less £15 will be issued.


You may use your full payment as credit toward a future equivalent workshop within the next 3 workshops scheduled. You have first refusal on upcoming workshops if none are scheduled at the time of your cancellation.

If you cancel your workshop booking within 21 calendar days (3 weeks) of the delivery date, a refund less £5 will be issued IF:

The workshop is full AND your cancelled space is filled with a rebooking.

Your refund will be issued when these two criteria are met and may be after the Workshop date. If the space is not filled, no refund will be issued.

Deposit payments made on workshop dates are treated as individual bookings.
