A Midweek Workshop at the first Pop-Up in the 1697 Shop in Faversham!

We’ll work with artist Nicola Chatten to explore making monoprints using Gelli plates. At the end of our morning, we’ll use some of our prints in a hand sewn pamphlet book. You’ll take your additional prints home along with your book.

Papers will vary. The images included here are representative only.

Limited to 6 places

In the workshop you will learn about:

Monoprint using the Gelli printing plate
Paper grain
Sewing techniques
Some common bookbinding tools and how to use them safely

Classes are taught through practical demonstrations and supported hands on work. Papers and materials will vary.
